Privacy Policy
RawRep is built so your training data never has to leave your phone. This page explains, in plain language, everything the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version
- No account, no sign-in, no password — there is nothing to link you to.
- Your workouts, routines, and sets are stored only in the app's local database on your device.
- We never sell, rent, or share your data with anyone, for any reason.
- We use one anonymous analytics SDK to see feature usage, not who you are.
Data that stays on your device
Every routine, exercise, set, weight, and rep you log is stored locally using Apple's on-device SwiftData framework. RawRep has no server and no network layer for your training data — it cannot upload what it has no way to send. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. You can also clear everything yourself at any time via Settings → Delete all data.
Export
You can export your own data as CSV or JSON from Settings whenever you like, and share it however you choose (e.g. AirDrop, Files, email). That export is initiated and controlled entirely by you — RawRep does not send it anywhere on its own.
Analytics (TelemetryDeck)
RawRep uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand which features are actually used so we can improve the app. TelemetryDeck signals are anonymous by design: they do not include your name, email, IDFA/advertising identifier, or any device fingerprint that could re-identify you.
What is sent: anonymised event names (for example, "workout completed" or "rest timer started"), counts, and durations. What is never sent: the weights or reps you log, exercise or routine names, or any other personal or fitness content. You can turn analytics off entirely at any time in Settings → Analytics.
Purchases
RawRep Pro purchases (yearly, monthly, or lifetime) are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. RawRep never sees or stores your payment details — Apple processes the transaction and RawRep only receives confirmation of what you bought, to unlock the corresponding features on your device. Restore Purchases is available from the paywall and from Settings.
Apple Health (optional, Pro)
If you choose to enable Apple Health in Settings, RawRep can write your completed workouts to the Health app. This connection is write-only: RawRep does not read your existing Health data back. You grant this permission explicitly through Apple's system prompt and can revoke it at any time in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security → Health.
iCloud sync
iCloud sync is not available in this version of RawRep. Your data lives only on the device you use it on. Standard iOS device/iCloud backups (which you control at the operating-system level) will include RawRep's local data as part of a full device backup, but RawRep itself does not sync or transmit anything.
Children
RawRep is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. There are no accounts, no chat, no user-generated content shared with other people, and no social features of any kind.
Data retention & deletion
Your training data is retained for as long as it stays on your device. You can delete all of it at any time from Settings → Delete all data, or by uninstalling the app. TelemetryDeck retains anonymous, aggregate usage signals separately, under its own retention policy, and holds nothing that identifies you personally.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
